Materializing the experience or why print photographic formats are gaining momentum today
The first ever workshop on "How to increase sales of your photographic products?" was held in Sofia with the special participation of Marcello Strada. The guest lecturer from Italy has over 30 years of experience in the field of photography and offering adapted innovative solutions for tangible image media - photo books, albums and other high-quality formats. He is the founder of the eponymous company Marcello Strada Srl, a segment leader in Europe and with a highly developed distribution network on a global scale.
The focus of the event was identifying the needs of corporate and individual customers and finding the optimal solution to offer them. In the hands-on part, guests tested the latest generation of photo book making machines that streamline and reduce the process for realizing a finished product to 3 minutes.
Marian Velev, founder of GM Print and host of the event, gave a demonstration of the latest techniques and subtleties of working with printed images. He also showed the latest materials and supplies for creating premium photo books.
The seminar was preceded by a roundtable discussion featuring leading experts from public communications, tourism, fashion and luxury brands who shared observations and practical experiences related to the consumption of digital and print photographic products. Notwithstanding the mass digitization of life and consumption, it became clear that, especially after the pandemic, physical image media - print, posters, albums, books, catalogues and other formats, are strengthening their position and are an integral part of visual communication and business approach to develop and reinforce the relationship with the customer during their overall experience.
"It is important to believe in what you do, to bring income, but also the satisfaction of having created something with your own hands!" so M. Strada summed up the formula of longevity and success in business. He affirmed that digitalisation has contributed to the even stronger establishment of printed photographic formats, which are becoming a tangible medium of memory, experience, accurately captured moment and message.
After the meeting with the Bulgarian photography professionals, Marcello Strada will give presentations in Germany and Australia.
